missing

While studying in the canteen with tasha today i suddenly miss so, so much the times after parade in the black night when after such a long day of standing, running, enduring and complaining, all of our tired souls finally get to rest in the air-conditioned bus seat, awaiting a 1 hour ride and then another few minutes back home.
I miss the feeling of "whah. the day is finally over, it's so late in the night already, but it's not too late to rest" i miss the times where after the 10 hours being at BRTC, we are just so relieved to go home, even though of course, home is so far away.
i miss the feeling on the bus ride home - the thought that we don't need to worry, we no longer need to rely on ourselves, stand by ourselves in a contingent, because then, we had have already given our load to the bus driver to bring us home. Well, to tanah merah mrt, that is.
i miss the times when we do not need to worry about how crumpled our starched smelly uniform is anymore, cos it's time to go home. There are no more AFIs or officer or contingent commander to "buka ke kenan lurus" us to check on our uniform.
oh how i miss the times where we finally get to rest after a long, long, long 10 hours of being in the sun, in the glow of the dull blue sky and under the starry night sky.
but now is not the time to think about these, it's the time to STUDY.
Oh how much i love my ypms friends. It just springs out at me, how i can see people everyday in school, but not be close to them at all but when it comes to people i see only once a week in church, we are really quite close. these few sundays of ypms/ no ypms, i feel as if we(my ypms community) have became very tightly bonded and i feel like they have become my best friends, more "best" then the ones in school. (of course they are different)
It's really an advantage to BE in a spiritual community. it really binds all of us closer when we PRAY for each other and encourage and catch up on our lives - just that once a week. i have been really motivated after reading a random blog's post that we must STRIVE to keep our community God central. And that desire to pray for each other comes from a close relationship and love for each other. so since i LOVE my ypms friends, and i LOVE God, shouldn't i start my YPMS community to be God central?
